Why, yes, it is! (It's from the 86-1650 service manual, GSS-1464 W/Rev2) It doesn't state anywhere that I've found that the studs go in locations "X" and "Z" but I found a photo that shows. And, yeah I know it's a 128, but the studs should be in the same place.)

Thanks Kraig,
I have that manual too, just can't find it amongst the rubble in my shop. Thanks. Kenny

Kenny, that's one reason I keep an electronic copy on my PC.)

Iknow that this is a touch off topic but here goes . Can someone with a brinly 10" plow measure the bolt holes and post the dimensions of the laythe, as I need to know if a 10" laythe will bolt up to my 8" I would cut the excess off with a plas

Rob D,
I do belive the bolt holes are the same, if memory serves me they only offered one size frog for the 8",10" and 12" plows.
Also I do belive the point is longer, ( the leading point) however I am here at work and my plows are at home and I cant measure them from here.

I need a reminder. I'm having a K321 from a 149 rebuilt right now. I'm reconfiguring it for a gear drive starter and will be installing it in a QL roller I've got lying around here.

On to my question... Long ago we discussed carburetors and I can't remember if it's "smart" to put a #30 carb (from a K341) on a K321 OR if it's better to use the #26 / ~3/4" bore carb from the K321.

A little more information... This will be my main mowing tractor and I plan to plow with it as well. I'm thinking that I'll set the no-load governor speed to roughly 3800 rpm. And everything else is going to be stock.

Thoughts anyone?

thanks,
Keith

Just got back from a vacation. I see theres been more discussion about creeping snow thrower chutes. It's probably time to totally go through the thrower anyway, do some of the mods presented here lately. It's getting loose in all the wrong places.

Thanks for the ideas!

Keith,

The K321 was built in two different configurations, the early one's being bored out K301's with a #26 carb, and later versions having the larger exhaust valve and #30 carb. If your engine has the large ex. valve (both inlet and exhaust the same size), then the #30 is the right carb to use. Another test is to measure diameter of inlet port, at the carb mounting face. Diameters of port and carburetor throttle bore should match.

Richard C, and anyone else who's toyed with 'em...

I know the pressure-relief limit for the charge-pump can be set for auxiliary outputs... I'm considering an alternative use for a hydrostat unit, where I'd be necessary to establish a limit pressure for the pump-motor...

Did Sundstrand equip the hydrostats with a pressure relief in that circuit, and if so, has anyone experimented with it?

DOH!!!!!!! Wrong page. Sorry.

well guys we lost a member of the family today. the 149 has found a new home with a 15 yr old that shares the same hobby as I do. the only reason she's gone is to fund the 100 and because it went to someone who will take care of it. we'll keep you all up to date on the progress of the 100.

The forum has been a little sloooo...

The Rambo Granny of Melbourne, Australia
Gun-toting granny Ava Estelle, 81, was so ticked-off when two thugs raped her 18-year-old granddaughter that she tracked the unsuspecting ex-cons down - - and shot off their testicles

The old lady spent a week hunting those men down -- and when she found them, she took revenge on them in her own special way, said Melbourne police investigator Evan Delp. Then she took a taxi to the nearest police station, laid the gun on the sergeant's desk and told him as calm as could be

'Those bastards will never rape anybody again, by God.' Cops say convicted rapist and robber Davis Furth, 33, lost both his penis and his testicles when outraged Ava opened fire with a 9-mm pistol in the hotel room where he and former prison cellmate Stanley Thomas, 29, were holed up.

The wrinkled avenger also blew Thomas' testicles to kingdom come, but doctors managed to save his mangled penis, police said. The one guy, Thomas, didn't lose his manhood, but the doctor I talked to said he won't be using it the way he used to, Detective Delp told reporters. Both men are still in pretty bad shape, but I think they're just happy to be alive after what they've been through.

The Rambo Granny swung into action August 21 after her granddaughter Debbie was carjacked and raped in broad daylight by two knife-wielding creeps in a section of town bordering on skid row. "When I saw the look on my Debbie's face that night in the hospital, I decided I was going to go out and get those bastards myself 'cause I figured the Law would go easy on them," recalled the retired library worker. "And I wasn't scared of them, either-- because I've got me a gun and I've been shootin' all my life. And I wasn't dumb enough to turn it in when the law changed about owning one."

So, using a police artist's sketch of the suspects and Debbie's description of the sickos', tough-as-nails Ava spent seven days prowling the wino-infested neighborhood where the crime took place till she spotted the ill fated rapists entering their flophouse hotel.

I knew it was them the minute I saw 'em, but I shot a picture of 'em anyway and took it back to Debbie and she said sure as hell, it was them, the oldster recalled.

So I went back to that hotel and found their room and knocked on the door and the minute the big one, Furth, opened the door, I shot 'em right square between the legs, right where it would really hurt 'em most, you know.

Then I went in and shot the other one as he backed up pleading to me to spare him. Then I went down to the police station and turned myself in.

Now, baffled lawmen are trying to figure out exactly how to deal with the vigilante granny. What she did was wrong, and she broke the law, but it is difficult to throw an 81-year-old woman in prison, Det. Delp said, especially when 3 million people in the city want to nominate her for sainthood and a medal. DEPORT HER TO AMERICA -- WE NEED HER!!!

"Cubby Hole", My 149 is not real happy in the Garage with the bikes and cleaning supplies. I may also have an Origional located so I need more room. I am considering a 24'X24' Garage structure. I would love to hear your suggestions. If you could do it all over again, what would you build.
Thanks, Herb
