    Kraig, Those PTO clutches can be a BEAR to get off! I found that leaving the engine on the machine and using a 25 foot chain with some slack hooked up behind the clutch in the center of the chain, you can "whip" the clutch off holding the two loose ends one in each hand.

    My clutch rattled and chattered until I realized there was a broke teaser spring in the clutch. I replaced it and it is smooth as butter now. I have an electronic TAC on mine, K181, I have it WOT (WIDE OPEN THROTTLE) @ 3600 and idle at 1150. Seems to be perfect for an idle @ 1150.

    Just ordered a 800 SAE grade 5 bolt kit with bins. 1/4-20 to 3/4" nuts and washers. Sick of running out for a few bolts here and there. Big brown truck should be here with them in a few days. Also a 360 piece butt, ring and spade wire connector kit.

    model 86. I pulled my driveshaft and clutch to find out what my problem was. My throwout bearing is in two pieces with the outer half up around the spring.
