    K301AQS Help

I have a K301AQS in my Ford LGT 125. I recently developed an oil leak from where I thought was around the breather cover area. Apon inspection, I found the leak to be from the governor stop? I am talking about the partially threaded rod located between the governor arm and the carb. I installed...

Some more progress on the 147 teardown. Steering wheel off, hydro lever, dash pedestal, footrest supports, lift rockshaft, rearend, then I ran into a frozen rollpin/solid pin (couldnt tell to cruded up) in the front axle pivot pin. I will soak it with some PB blaster and try again in a couple...

Finally got a new camera! A couple weeks ago I got some new front shoes for the cub, and hung 175lb weight on the wheels. If it ever starts snowing here I may mount the 42 blade.

    Any Ford owners out there?

I recently got a Ford 125 from my father in law. The body and tins are in great shape. Does anyone have info on these tractors? All I have found is that the K-301ASQ was built in 1982 and that Ford never made there tractors. This model possibly made by Jacobson. This Ford now sports a cub...

    My neighbors brother

My close neighbor got news in the early morning hours July 4th, that his younger brother had broken his neck after diving off a docked boat. Alcohol was involved, his brother is stable now. Doctors are unsure at this time as to the extent of his paralisis. My neighbor lost an older brother 17...

Ron R. Thanks for confirming the 42 deck info. Sorry for the confusion in my last post. When I picked up my 682, it came with a 50 inch deck that was shot. I have since picked up a solid 50 incher for the 682. The PO of the 682, asked if I was interested in the 42 deck, yea! He threw it in the...

    1018 problem

Hello all, normally I post in the IH forum but I am trying to figure out this 1018. Owner says it performs on level ground, but seems to lack power on an incline. Are there any common problems with this model? Any help would be greatly appreciatted. Thanks Todd H.

    First cub memory

The first memory of actually using my cub back was when it was an 86 model. I was cuttin grass with a push mower in the dead heat of the summer. I was around age 10 at the time, Dad walked out to me and asked do you want to use the riding mower? Being 10 or so I asked is it easier than the push...

Dean S, I am not looking down on the hydro cubs I have never run one. As to your statement of "oil" drives in the winter, let em warm up and go, I agree. Gear drive cub, start her and yer ready to go. Gear drive may be stiff going into gear the first couple of times. I realize I am not in an...
