BTW.. Does anybody else think it's ironic that we're talking about stabilizers for an early Brinly hitch in the MTD section.

I think I made a mistake....Odds are Kraig is right about the plate being 1 1/4 wide.
I will double check tomarrow...bolts too.

Bolts are 1/2 inch diameter.
Plate is 1 1/4 inch wide.

Dale, OK, 1-1/4" on the plate and 1/2" carriage bolts. Thank you!

HEY GUYS IVE PUT SOME TIME ON MY HOME MADE hitch with a 10 plow and tiller no problems to report, the tiller deff puts some strain on the lift and if it was going to break thats where it would happen but glad to say it has worked out just fine
