CUB 1440

I have a Cub 1440 that was given to me. It has not been started in probably 2 years. I have installed new plugs. It tries to turn over but... 1-The light says PTO is on-disconnected wire and it still said that. New switch-same thing. 2-I think the shaft on the back of the motor is also turning-is this correct? 3-I don't think it is getting gas--Fuel Pump? The machine is overall in good shape, has been in a garage. I want to get it running. thanks for any and all suggestions. }

For your pto problem the relay may be stuck in the on position which wont let it start it is located next to the battery, and for the drive shaft spinning coming out the back of the engine it is suppose to do that.

So I I should replace the relay.
Then maybe it will start?
The motor is trying to turnover.
