I was checking out parts cleaning tanks online earlier today and had not realized how much they were! (GASP) So I'm glad I brought this home from work today! I got it from the hospital I work at for like 25 bucks. The motor works and I can put practically a whole Cub in it. I have noooo idea...

    Worried

I just got a letter in my daughters "bring home" folder yesterday about the "swine flu". There are now two confirmed cases in two of our elementary schools and a third possible in one of the middle schools. I'm a shade worried due to the fact that this isnt by any means a huge area and am a...

I finally got the K back together and back in the 104! Here is a pic. Oh and I had this follow me home today! A decent 1650 that runs. I picked it up from one of the maintenance guys at work for free! Told me he just wanted to get rid of it. Has no deck or any attachments, but I figured for...

    Blazer issues

I have a 2001 Chevy Blazer I'm having some issues with. The front end vibrates badly when driving at highway speedsand kinda wobbles from side to side at 30 mph or less. I dont want to go and replace everything. The tie-rod ends are good and the ball joints are good too from what I can tell...

    Not sure what to think

I got home today from all my pre-op stuff at the local hospital, to a rather disturbing letter from my regular doctor. A letter of all things! It stated that they had found a 5mm mass in my left lung and wanted to do x-rays.....in 3 months. I would think that they would bring me in and tell me...

I did check out geekbay and have found brand new s/g's for around a hundred plus shipping, which is still cheaper than the local shop for a repair/rebuild. I have already replaced the brushes and bearings in mine about 2 weeks ago. I think the problem is that the local shop has no competition in...

Charlie, thanks for the pic of the lift!! I think I'm going to get a linear actuator and fab one due to finances I did see one that was built from one and it looked good! At least now I know how it looks and where it goes on the frame so I have a better idea of the fab its going to take.
