I am trying to search for older posts about 42” mower deck mod to add wheels on the front of it to replace the rails but can’t find anything or maybe it’s never been posted. Please help!

Wasn't me. I have copied some of Steve's 44/50" deck mods and also had to make new from replacements for the missing caster wheels on the 60" deck for my 1872.
I do remember Richard Christiansen (not 100% sure I spelled that right) doing a lot of deck mods and such over the years.
