OK, Kraig - see, if those chains had been loose, that snow would've been gone from 'em floppin' around. Oh - and I tried building a set of chains for the front from a set of bigger chains - problem was side clearance between the inside tire wall and the steering arm. I built one and quit when I put it on the 129 (when I was working on 'em had link pieces flyin' all over the garage too .. man that's hard steel)
Well, it's about 2° here in Marysville, MI, at the moment. Alot of bluster but not a speck of snow. I stand at the window waiting...and wondering if my Cub will start. It gets cranky when the temp in my garage drops below 20.
Will somebody please tell me why they close schools when it's like this? What they heck do they do in norther WI or the Upper Peninsula of MI - it's zero half the winter up there.
My wife and kids and I went for a hike in the woods yesterday for two hours when it was 2° for FUN. I think the kids can handle a 15 minute recess.
