Mine are the original lamps. 35ish years old. I don’t think they’ll ever burn out.PAR36. These are pretty close to the original appearance too, but a different color temperature and nearly twice as bright. I've been replacing all of mine as they burn out.

Good find. I’ve been browsing different LED options. What I want to know is how you adapted that battery to the lantern.I am about to replace the headlights on my CC122. Currently imy CC122 has 4.5" incandescent bulbs (I believe P/N:4411). I am planning on using PAR36 LED bulbs from Lowes. These bulbs are less than $13/each.
Separately, I updated a vintage sportsmen lantern with this PAR36 LED bulb (and Milwaukee M18 battery). See pics.
PS these bulbs are rated for 12V to 24V AC or DC. The lantern with PAR36 bulb puts out insane amounts of light.
PPS The other day I did a test of battery duration with PAR36 bulb; left lantern on for 90 minutes and output did not diminish in brightness/intensity. Additionally, M18 battery was still showing four bars after 1.5 hour test.
