Those "Cub Cadet" branded tires were commonly seen on the later Cyclops, like 1994-97. I believe Goodyear made them but the sidewalls were emblazoned with the CC name. They are not the exact same tread pattern as the Goodyear branded tires normally seen on the 82 series.
 
No worries. When the cheap tools break or wear out, they are letting you know you need better tools.
I already had a full set of 300 or more pieces of Craftsman's for over 30 years, but when I stopped at a yard sale a few years ago and the lady said $25 for the toolbox and tools, I added another full 243 piece Craftsman set to the crib. That one will be my son's, now that he's found fixing your own "stuff" is way better than paying somebody else to do a half-as*ed job for too much money.
