Hello, I am doing the super steer upgrade with an 1863 axle (part 719-3101) on both a narrow 122 and a wide frame 169. I bought two and took them all apart to clean them up. A couple of questions.
1) One has a straight drag link and the other has a bent drag link (next to each other in photos). What is the difference?
2) Is the 1863 drag link the same length as OEM on the 122? Any precautions?
3) The 122 steering fits a 3/8" ball joint but the 1863 has a 1/2" ball joint, what steering columns are best for NF/WF?
4) I don't use mower decks and read here that the 1863 can break off QA springs, will the tabs at the top hit anything?
5) Is it a crime to repaint these yellow? Thank you!
