At the risk of getting "POOFED AGAIN"
You haven't see anything when it comes to A$$HOLES unitl you come to SO. Florida. We have more of them per square mile than anywhere else in the U.S. and most of them don't speak English!
If the Yellow Pages ever gives a heading to that word the only section that would have more listings under it would be "Escort Services" and Lawyers.
Just a humble opinion from a former New Jersey-New York Eastern Pa. resident!

the original is pretty basic...electric start, rotary mower, but I already have the snow-plow for it. the 128 has a burnt up pto but is otherwise in great shape. and thanks for the clutch diagram

99% of the east coasters are SUPER people, BUT, there are that 1% that screw it up for the rest, It's sad too, especially when you think that they could have gotten many people buying from them just for letting a little information being used somewhere besides their website.

If the O has nothing special on it, that's way to much money unless it's a super low serial numbered tractor.
PTO repair is a 30 minute job. Go for the 128!

Attention SHADE TREE MECHANIC: I adjusted the gap in my electric PTO clutch on my 1650 today. Each of the 4 nuts had to be moved some. It certainly was not at .010. Playing with it while cold worked very good today. I put it all back together again and will mow tomorrow for an extended time. I will see if it engages after it has been used an hour or so. If it does not,I guess it means my clutch is going. If it works ok it means the too wide of gap was the problem. Stay tuned and thanks again for the help.

An O is an nice thing to have, they are fun little tractors, but if it does not have anything special then ya might want to just wait. I have never used a 128, but I would not pass it up. I would go with the 128. Just my .02

Just wanted to thank everyone for their response to my questions regarding the 50a mower deck spindle bearing. C & G had what I needed. The st745 bearing/spindle setup around $60.00 per. By far the least expensive repair. Hopefully, it'll make a difference in the performance of the mowing.
Does anyone have a diagram or parts list for installation of a 3-point on a 106? Best I can tell I need a standard 3-point before I can install a sleeve hitch adapter. True? (This is assuming that it will be running soon
)

If your 106 does not have a 3 point hitch you will need all these parts except item #7 you should already have. Be aware that when you buy a 3 point from someone they usually do not include all the parts required. There are/were a couple of guys selling 3 points in the for sale section. For Sale

Lisa, here is a drawing of the required parts. And yes, this is required before you can use the sleeve hitch adapter.

Thanks much. Nothing worse than thinking you have everything you need, driving 40 miles to find out you missed a bolt, a washer, or worse - something you have to order and wait 5 more days for. Tends to make me kinda' cranky.. Now I can avoid that.
Lisa, check with Travis or Cub Cadet Connection, see link above and the classifieds, Cub Connection has a post stating they have 3 point hitches for Originals through 1650s. Travis has some of the parts, reproduction versions, on his website CC Specialties, see link above and the classifieds.
