OK Guys - here it is. It's Spring and Son is thinning out his herd.
Model 169 with original manual lift. Has what appears to be original Kohler 16hp K341A 12fin engine. Tractor has correct serial no. tag indicating build date Oct 1974. Engine has correct shroud tag indicating built in 1974 so I believe it's all original. Has correct muffler and correct heat shield both in good shape (shield is moved in pic so you can see 10 head bolts). Tractor starts right up, runs and drives, but does smoke. Manual lift is missing button and rod. Has the hour meter on the side panel as well. This is a really great candidate for restoration. You all know they only built 4005 of these and ain't making any more. I now believe the 12 fin engine is actually more rare than the 13 fin.
$1,000 or near reasonable offer, picked up in CT at zip code 06798. Take advantage of the Cub Haulers thread if you're a little distance from CT.

For Sale Cub Cadet 1000 ser #2050055U535581.
I've got too many and it has to go.
Older repaint with some sags but still looks good. Runs great! Includes mower sub-frame, but no deck.
Has PO added dash / tail-light,no headlights.

New front tires.
Carb soaked and rebuilt.
New medium durometer ISO motor mounts.
Clutch assembly and drive shaft just rebuilt, all sandblasted with new stainless roll-pins.
New points,(allen screws on points cover) new plug.

Everything is greased, oiled and adjusted. Great as is for a worker or an awesome start for a collecter. It is clean, clean clean.

I have a 126 cub for sale. It runs like a champ and fires right up even on the coldest winter day. New parts include wiring harness,voltage regulator, solenoid, teaser spring, deck drive belt and throw out bearing. It still has the original paint and is in real nice shape for its age. The brake system was serviced and is working properly and the s/g was checked out by a local shop and its working fine. Carb was just rebuilt and the engine purrs like a kitten. Deck is a 48 with newer blades and it cuts real nice. I've put a decent amount of money into this to make it 100% ready to use but a 128 caught my eye and I don't have room for both. 650 obo email me with ?s or if you want pics at [email protected]
