Sorry about the screen, Aatay - I thought everyone was already tucked in bed for the night! (Except in Oz - G'day Graeme)

Not everyones in bed yet, another hour befor I slid between the sheets.

Thursday will be a busy day for me as I have 2 homes with frozen water pipes to try and thaw out.

Lonny - Wouldn't one have been enough

I've got to replace a hot water heater element ... at least it was hot when I took a shower but the ol lady went second

Talking about quick answers, well, I had to have a couple of sleeps to let you guys run me over. Also, Kendell, the cold air must warm a bit as it falls past mid earth cause it was 32 a couple of kms inland from here here today (=90F), about 26 here & expecting 21 tomorrow (=70F). Storms & plenty of rain elswehere, but not much H2O here.

Kraig,Henri,Paul,Kentuck, etc. mine's ser. no. is 130870 which seems to put it 1965 build. Cubfaq helped heaps with clues, but also needed dogged determination, and paint scraping, IH seemed intent on keeping it secret.

Lip - yep, still going here.
Just put the steering box back in the 102, for about the 4th time, hope I've got it right this time, feels good.

Hold on boys they are calling for 7 to 12 inches of snow tonight for Wabash, Indiana. Gus (1650) is ready and I think the hospitals piece of crap 3206 might be able to limp thru.

KentuckyKen looks like freezing rain in your area!!

KENtuck -

"I've got to replace a hot water heater element ... "

You have a hot water heater? I use a plain old water heater to heat cold water, and make it hot.

Sorry - guess I got up this morning with a wise-guy attitude. I suppose I deserve this:

Hope the element change is uneventful. You might should slap an IH or Kohler sticker on it, to make it on-topic.

Or, I could just say my 782 hasn't had any occassion to run yet this winter - no new snow in our area. In fact I stuck a trickle charge on the battery last weekend just to keep it safe with the sub-zero temps.

Hey it MIGHT snow! They have already closed school with only a few clouds in the sky. They don't want to try to get the kids home after it starts to get bad. Great, now I have them all day.Blade is ready, bring it on! Rather hear the Kohlor than the kids anyway.

Ken, It doesn,t seem like YOU have a hot water problem. Just get the ear plugs for that scream when the cold sneaks in

I want to build a tooth bar for my loader. I need a source for weld on teeth. Nothing to outlandish, the loader is on a 1650. I can't seem to locate a source. I don't want to pay a fortune either.
