Glen,
Brian Miller means well and has tons of great info.
BUT, he's a puller and doesn't always have or know the right wording in several places on his site. http://members.aol.com/pullingtractor/kohlcub.htm

Will a lowboy ,154, front axle fit in place of a stock cub axle? I'm doing research at the moment into what cub would be the best for a transformation. I see 1X8/9 done alote and am looking to see if another one could work and look as well. Maybe the 72 could be a candidate.
