Hello all, I was reccommended here for my interest in IH cub cadets. I own a 1971 cub cadet 127 and love it to death, but seeing all these beautiful machines around this forum has been in some ways even more convincing that these tractors don't quit. I have no idea if I'm posting in the right spot, I just wanted to introduce myself, and if I am interrupting anything I'm very sorry. Thanks for acceptance, and any info on the 127 would be awesome.

Thanks for your response. Clarify polarizing the brushes please??

After reading your response and the FAQ articles I just remembered something. That unit has issues. I had it apart 12 to 14 years ago for my dad. I think I had to "shim" the front bearing. Time I checked to see about another one, or what replacement parts I need.

Jim S, I don't think I want to change my 127 Cub over to diesel cause Diesel fuel is $3.59.9 here to day!! I do own a Diesel truck and sometimes wish I had a Diesel cub , But mostly back when it did'nt take a $100 dollar bill to fill the tank!! RichP

Here she is, outfitted for snow removal, and boy can this thing blow a lot of snow. I do plan to restore it when I get some time, but it doesn't look too bad at the moment. I'll take some more pics and post them later, as this is the only one I have at the moment.

Rich,
If your cub was a diesel you would only need to fill it half as often. So even at 3.59 you would be money ahead.
