Charlie,I though I read an article in one of my farm magazines that they used a plow like that on ground flooded near the Mississippi River. It was pulled by 2 or 3 cat dozers with no front blades on them. It was used to bury all the sand and debris left by the flood. It was needed to pull the good black ground back to the surface for planting. If anyone can add anything please do.

Chris,
That plow was used up here in Minnesota years ago to turn the sugar beet fields from what the guy that owns it says. The ground is so sandy that they had to turn it every 3 years, so he says.

Shoot , the ol lady's Cub Cadet string trimmer would pull that in hard clay !

Charlie,
Looks like they were flipflopen in the laderhosen more that one meter deep. (What ever the hell that means!!)

Merry Christmas to all, I spent a warm Christmas in North Carolina with my brother, shopping on Christmas Eve in my shirtsleeves. I made a followup quick visit to Mom and Dad in VA. It wasn't exactly under the tree today for me, but in my Dad's driveway is a 5' 3 point hitch finishing mower, and some talk about a Farmall C that's for sale nearby to hitch it to.
A good Christmas even without the hardware. Mom, Dad, and the rest of the family are in good spirts and good health, and for that I am truly thankful.

Ken - I know how a governor works, (or atleast believe I do), maybe I will try unhooking it completely, and seeing if it clears up or not. Worth a try. Just seems like my 104, when it comes on the governor, it doesn't sound like it is lugging, or displays a serious lack of power like my 105 does. But we will see. Thanks.
