i have a 128 with a dead battery.i get it started by jumping the battery with my battery charger.i took the a wire the (a) off the starter /generator and the motor shut off.when i had the motor running a put a test light on the battery and it lit up {12 volt test ligh}.my question is my starter 'generator bad or the voltage regulator bad. is there a way to check the voltage regulator?thanks for yopur help
