Thanks Jerry, I thought it should but after I wrestled with that thing for an hour I was wondering. Guess I new to find the right hanger. When you say hanger do you mean the mule drive?

Can anyone fill me in on the good/bad/ugly of a 482. Grew up on a 582 but this seems to be a different beast. Any comments on the belt drive? Thanks

Gotta say I'm a bit jealous of u guys gettin snow. Bought a blade for my 129 along with chains and weights last year. Here in md I haven't had a chance to use it yet and it certainly doesn't look like it anytime soon. I want to get out and play too!

    My first one-127

My first attempt at a re-furbish. I was given a 127 that runs and has an electric lift. Hood is rusted and pitted pretty badly and the splines on the hydro shaft where the handle connects are stripped. Other than that it's in pretty decent shape. My son and I are tearing it down and going to...

Thanks for the info on the float lock button. I need to get the outer rim out and press a new one in.

Donald, thanks for the reply. Maybe I'm describing it wrong. It's the smaller button that can lock out the lift and allow it to float.

The float lock button is missing from my 129 manual lift. Is this spring loaded? How is it held in place. I will order one but want to be sure I am getting the right thing for it to work. Thanks

Well since Hurricane Sandy gave me a day off I made use of the time to do a little Cub work. Got the snow plow/chains on the 129. Wheel weights will be here by the end of the week. Bring on the snow!

Thanks for the responses guys. I'll check them out a little closer. I need to rebuild the one on my 129 but a friend has one on a 127 that runs fine. I have to run the choke clear out for the 129 to run. He owes me and would be willing to swap carbs.

Would a carb from a 127 swap right over to a 129? My thinking is that it should but then again my thinking isn't always right. Thanks

Hi guys, My 129 has a funny rattle which seems to be coming from the front of the engine area. I have been reading recently about the balance gears. Any tips on how to tell for sure if that is the problem. From what I am reading I assume that these are not necessary for operation? Can these be...

    Trading Post

Looking to trade a QA42A snowthrower that works fine for a wide frame front blade and wheel weights. Snowthrower currently set up for narrow frame but I understand that it will fit a wide frame as well.
