Need a sub-frame and mule drive for my 1250 so I can use the 44 deck. I am in the North Texas area.

Harry: my sub frame the has the straight outer frame, not the curved and it did come from a 38" deck. Don't think the pulley mounts are bent, as they look aligned straight back. I won't be able to get any pics for a couple of days, as pulled back muscles trying to get it mounted over the...

Jesse: had some internet problems with storms here in Texas reason I did not respond yesterday. Appreciate the response, but still need a little more info on what all I would need to adapt the 44" deck to my 1250. Any idea where I might find parts? It looks like I would also need some way to...

I have been looking at 44" mower deck and would like to use it on my 1250, but the center pulley is offset and will not allow mounting. Is there a modification kit available for this. Also, what is the difference between a 44 and 44A Deck? Thanks in advance for any information provided

Jim, not exactly sure which deck I have, as it might have had some work done to it. It is a 38", and only ID it has is the S/N which is 0320016U101340. Sure would like to know for sure which model. I do have the list of manuals for the CC1250. but it shows 3 different models of mower decks, and...

Kraig and Jim, Thanks for the responses. Kraig is right, it is the blade shroud I am looking for. The one or some of it is completely deteriorated, so need a bit of stability on it. Will see what I can find to make one out of.

Where can I find a shroud for a 38" mower deck, or do I need to fabricate one. Trying to rebuild the deck, and the first thing I would need would be a shroud.

Kraig, Looks more like the top one, but has no gauge wheels or deflector. No decals, only a plate with the number stamped in. Sorry, didn't respond sooner, but still busy getting the 1250 up and running. Actually it seems to measure to 38". Holden

David, I picked up a small pry bar and just used a little pressure between frame and engine, and twisted the cover off the points. The push rod needs replaced, so will order new parts from CC specialty and get it perfected like a CC should be. It started right up and sounds pretty good. No...
