I have an IH chipper/shredder mounted on a small trailer so I can pull it around,it has its own motor. I know that there we're versions of these that were driven from the tractors motor. My question is,how was the the drive set up to transfer the belt from the tractor to the chipper. I'm interested in possibly fabricating something along those lines if I can.

Here Ya go Bob!
But......
These were all built for WF Cubs so you will have to take that into account when fabbing up a drive system.
Id' start with a QA mower frame from a NF (or WF for that app) and go from there.
If you need, I can snap some pictures of mine and maybe even a sketch or two.
My neighbor is a CAD guy, maybe we model this framework & parts on Solid works or the like. I'll talk to him this weekend and run it by him. We can get all the measurements off my unit.

Bob, is that an ash tree in the background?
If so, how are they holding up?.
We lost 2 more here recently, most of them BIG ones, to the bugs bringing the total to 6 so far.
