Still looking for a good set of 23 x 10.50 x 12 chains for my 1450 thnx Rob

ROB

For my 147 with 1050 tires I cut down a set of automobile chains I had that last were used on a 56 Chevy years ago. Other than being to long they fit prefectly! The length of the crossbars is all that really matters, you can always shorten the length for tire diameter,or even shorten the crossbars. Farm sales would be a good place to look, when I was a kid in the 50's everybody on the farms, before paved roads, had chains in the winter. Leave a little extra for tire diameter,as tire pressure changes will change the diameter. Round bungee cords and "S" hooks from the hardware dept make excellent chain thighteners and keep everything shipshape.

I am looking for a hydro release lever for my 149.
This is that spring steel looking thing that releases the hydro. Any one looking to get rid of one?
