Hey don, why not just weld a nut to the end of the c clamp screw? Then you can turn it with a socket and driver of choice. Just an idea. I know where you're going with the split socket, just seems like a waste of a socket.

I think you guys are making this a bigger deal than it is. Put the swivel end of the clamp on the button and have at it. Those things a pressed in not threaded.

I have a good Craftsman set of sockets and air impact sockets and a box of a few sets that are missing and some broken sockets of a cheaper brand. I bet my 15" cut saw would make that split in a few seconds.

I will post a repair on drive cups that Frank C sent me. I plan to have the slot welded where the pin wears the cup and clean up the slot with my 15" metal cutter. I will post after I do another one. That last one I did is on my 129 loader now for a few years and still don`t show much wear in the weld.

I thought I had the hydro adjusted properly for neutral, but when I'm at idle and raise the deck on my 782, it takes off. What gives?

Kraig--thanks for the response. I'm amazed that the weakened springs and worn slots could cause that much reduced performance. I sure hope that is the case with the 125 and not anything internal in the hydro. Have you experienced this problem before with any of your hydro cubs? I knew that the trunnion plate and springs weren't good when I first drove this tractor and saw how much movement there was before it would go! Same goes for uphill and down movements.

How much heavy plowing abuse can these hydros take with proper fluid and filter maintenance?

Did you burn out your battery charger?

You need a battery boost pack for that kind of testing .

I have read on this site where some guys plowed more than a few laps on a large fuild and there hydros would get so hot the fluid would boil. The hydros in our cub are very strong and will take a lot of hard usage if the fluid and filter is replace as per the proper maintain schedules.

Charlie, Thanks...your drawing will work fine. Only one question; how long is the flattened part?

Michael A. Masheris, yep...that's what I'm talking about.

Those chains work great on AG tires....

Michael A. Miller
4 1/8" to the back of the bend and the holes are 13/16 and 3 3/16" from the flat end or the bottom of the bracket.

Charlie,

Oops, thanks for setting me straight on Cyber Monday. Looks like Don and I will have orders ready for some Cub parts.
