Don, I assume the actual release lever is there and intact. If so the part you need is rather complex and would be quite difficult to make. Here's what it looks like.

Another question. I can't find a hole in the back cover to see the timing mark. This is the 149 with a k321. They did leave an access hole, didn't they?

Which side of the engine are you looking for a hole?

Don, there is probably a snap in plug in the hole, a screwdriver or knife blade will pop it right out
