and the rod seized on the crank, how do i know if i can get it turned under and use it again? and does anyone know a good place to send them to get polished?

I have not been here lately. I have not worked on my 1200 in about 9 years. I have started back to put it back together after a complete tear down.
When installing a Ball Bushing does it press in from the engine side or the transmission side of the drive plate

Frank it goes on the trans side
dont forget the manuals at the bottom of the topics

Yeah.. I figured I could sell some- or all -the attachments and make some of my money back, the catch is i don't have the initial cash to drop. *sigh*

Matt- Any good engine machine shop should be able to tell you and then turn/polish the crank for you. You will need a new rod, I believe they are available in std. .010 and .020 undersize.

I did replace the charge pump shaft from a 149 and the hydro does work but it is not a strong as the hydro in my 149. My 149 hydro seem to work much better . I think I will replace it some day if I can find another over here.AS shipping from the U.S would cost a bunch a $$$$

I need to find where the fire went on my 62 Original . I drove the tractor in the storage shed last fall and added a battery and some gas this spring only to have a bad gas leak. So I pushed it into my shop and replaced the fuel bowl with a new one and now have no spark

Ummm, you DO KNOW that the big black hose coming from that big yellow oblong thing under hood goes to the carb and NOT the top of the coil don't ya?

LoL yep I think I have that hose going where it should go. To be honest the 62 original has a metal gas line that I installed new last fall. Nice to see that you are in a good mood this am. You must have gotten lucky last night
