AGAIN .... The 82 Series Cubs are Wide Frame models....Period.

Cub Cadet's first diesel in a Wide Frame, was the 782D in 1984. There have been many subsequent models since.

Now considering this is the First and most accurate Cub Cadet Web Site, I would be thinking you may want to pay attention here..!!!!

Will a lowboy ,154, front axle fit in place of a stock cub axle? I'm doing research at the moment into what cub would be the best for a transformation. I see 1X8/9 done alote and am looking to see if another one could work and look as well. Maybe the 72 could be a candidate.
 
G.L. the K141 is a 14 cubic inch 1 cylinder version of the K161/K181 Kohlers that are used in CCs. Rated at 6.25 HP. Roger

Make an axle maybe. Just an idea that tikcles my fancy.
