So from the pics ...
#1 was built narrow and you needed extensions to wipe out your tracks

#2 was built wider

Thanks Charlie, what is the diff between the #1 and #2? I cant tell much from your pics. Maybe cutting depth/width or something else?

I took a closer look thanks Kentuck. Was that the only diff?

Charlie, no offense, but to the untrained eye, those tillers look the same. I'm not saying they are, it's just that the angle of the pics doesn't show the differences...

I wish there was an entry in the FAQ explaining the differences between attachments, and what attachment fits what tractors. Somebody asks about the various snowthrower models at least twice a week, and after reading this forum for almost a year, I still have no idea which models are which...

The #1 Tiller comes in at 32" and you can add extensions to both sides to bring it up to 38".
The #2 Tiller comes in at 38" and that's all ya get.
I hope I got that right, I'm sure someone will tell me if I'm wrong.

Chris, take a closer look at the tillers. You will notice the extentions bolted on the #1 tiller. I admit I did not see it the first time around.

Snow throwers, not my cup of tea....

More great pics, thanks Charlie. I saw the diff after Kentucks post. So much is unseen, until someone else points it out.
