Tom, how clean is the inside of that? If it's not rusty I'll take it. Ummm, for the $30 not the $300.

Couple nice tractors here if you want something that doesn't need fixed up. First, nice little 4-digit original. Older restoration (1993). Good running tractor, real straight metal minus the front mule drive guard, good tires, all correct for the early tractor. Correct oil bath, hood ornament, grill, emblem, etc. You'll almost NEVER find a better mower deck. Always stored inside, almost no rust, never patched or anything, correct early style spindle covers, optional guage wheels.
The bad: Unoriginal muffler and dash tower has the typical addition of a guage above the steering column and a few extra holes in the tower. I'd just patch them considering its an early tower with no slot. $550 for the tractor, deck, and all. Won't find many this nice to restore or just use short of ones already restored.

Secondly. Model 1250 with about everything electrical on the motor replaced. Newer repaint (decent, not restoration quality), new decals, side panels, all guards tight on the motor itself, I took the pto apart and fixed it and it works well, factory headlights and aftermarket but okay taillights, new seat, engine cradel upgrade, all new driveshaft components, trunion fixed and you'll never find one tigher or more responsive, 4 nice tires. Solid iso mounts added so it is a little more shakey than a nf or wf 12hp mower but not tooth-chattering by any stretch.
The bad on this one: 38" deck is very solid and quiet but had some rust along the back. I welded some patches on it so its safe, but has been patched in the back. This one is ready to go cut grass now as well. $750
