CHARLIE - My first Guess on the
ihrotate.gif
emblem is it's for a 460/560, or maybe 240/340 if it's a smaller size. Other two pictures I take are the front & back of the same thing, which I think is the center cap of a steering wheel, but it's tough to judge size. And either it's for a truck but with the raised brass emblem it could be for a Brass Tacks Demonstrator 450 Farmall

C. P....The round IH cap is for IH trucks. The 400-450-660 series tractors that DO NOT have power steering have a cap that is similar.

I just rebuilt a driveline for my 128.New throw
out bearing and clutch. The only time it does not
vibrate or rattle is when you put pressure on the
clutch pedal.Can anyone help?
Thanks jdavis

Jimmy D,
Did you install the anti-rattle springs?
Did you check to make sure that the main and teaser spring were still good and not cracked or broken?
Are ya sure you have everything adjusted right?

Hey digger. I bet the springs have lost there
tension.I will get three new ones.Maybe it will
solve the problem.I put on a new teaser spring.
Thank for your help
Jimmy

Jimmy D,
Sounds like you have an alignment or wear problem. I don't think its the springs. Is the pilot bushing installed? Watch the drive shaft closely. Does the drive shaft wobble on the clutch end or the rag joint end?

Just wondering if you guys that have indepedent brakes.... are the braking disc's casted right into the axles or are they a bolt on option?

Jstorma,
All one piece, not a bolt on option.

I am haveing the same problem, clutch pedal rattling unless I held slite preasure on it, this is on my 102.
On my 122, I replaced the drive shaft, main spring, teaser springs, anti-rattle springs, new clutch disk, new throwout bearing and new rear coupler. Still have to hold my foot on the clutch pedal to keep it from rattleing.
Today I decided to tear out the drive shaft on the 102, found the drive shaft worn eggshaped from the teaser spring through the throwout bearing to where the main spring meets the throwout bearing.
What could be causeing this much wear in a years time?

Lonny,
Dunno what to tellya, I've never had that problem.
I do know that Hydros don't have problems like that, grin!!!!!

Matt,
The 128 doesn't have a rag joint! Sounds like a flawed design to me!

I got a narrow tractor hydraulic factory kit for lift on my 1968 cub cadet. Does the pump take gear oil or does it take hydro fluid?
