I recently replaced both lip seals and check valves. Since then I have lost at least 25% of forward speed. Could this be an adjustment problem with the cam bracket or speed control linkage? If not, any other ideas? Thanks for your help.

Lynn-
Did you remove any of the speed control linkage or cam brackets? (I'm guessing you did if you replaced the seals.)

If so, then "yes" I think that could be the issue with it. When you say you lost 25% of forward speed, did you gain anything with reverse? That could point to a simple adjustment issue. Otherwise....

Did you check the fluid level in the transmission?
