Finally got the 129 running and installed my receiver hitch. Made this a few years ago but just got round to it. I’m sure that I copied this from one of the forums so if you recognize your design, thanks in advance!

Brian, nice job! (I edited your post to get rid of the duplicate photos.) Looks kind of like one that Richard Christensen built many years ago.

I made a bar that bolts onto my sleeve hitch adapter on the Cat O 3-pt that my 2" ball fits on for my 982. Moving a trailer around was back-up and raise the hitch and go. I pull my Pronovost P-503 walking tandem dump cart with that sleeve hitch adapter too, makes hitching up a breeze. Several years ago when I was using it everyday a typical load was 2500-3000#, sometimes more. The "3" in P-503 means 3000# gross capacity. The cart already had 6 inch sideboards when I got it, a Heaped load of dirt full up to the top of those sideboards must have been something over 3500#. I had both frt wheels of the 982 off the ground a couple times. My only regret is I don't have a bigger Pronovost dump cart for the Farmalls. They make up to 12,000# capacity.

Only 2 bolts!!??
Or is it also bolted to the draw bar?

It does look like it is also bolted to the drawbar, but because the gusset below the hitch tube is so small, the two rear cover bolts are doing most of the work. I think I'd have wanted to pick up more rear cover bolts...
