I have stopped using it as I feel it is extremely unsafe... any ideas as to what this problem is? At this point, the battery seems to be junk... so...

105 Issue... My tractor runs fine most of the time, however the charge indicator will peg all the way in the charge zone. I shut the tractor off as I have burned up two wiring harness (this maybe why as it is a mystery to me still). Does anyone know what is happening with my tractor. Snow...

The Carb on my 105 which used to drip a little gas from time to time is dripping more and more gas... What do I need to do to have this stop and more importantly where is it coming from, it appears to be above the float bowl, if that is possible...Thx guys

Has anyone used a 5 prong ignition swich on a 105 or equivalent? The parts stores only have 5 prong jobbies? I fried my new wiring harness and the only electical not replaced is the solenoid and the switch, I cannot figure out what else could possibly be wrong, so I am hoping I can make the 5...

Thanks again guys for all the info, I am ripping the wiring out tonight and will start over... Any idea whether this has killed the S/G too. The regulator is done, but I am not sure how to test the s/g without ripping apart... Thx again

Thanks Guys, there were no crossed wires as I have been running the cub for about 3 months and it ran fine. Like I said previously, every electrical component is new right down to the points... I haven't the first clue about wiring, so this one really gets me, if everything is new, why would...

Thanks for the info, my issue is that the wiring harness is only 5 months old, so I am wondering if there is something else I should be looking for. As I said the grounding bolt to the s/g bracket was loose, so I would hate to spend another 75 bucks for a wiring harness 40 for a reg just to...

What would cause a wiring harness to fry... I had replaced coil, condenser, points, regulator, s/g and wiring harness and the thing was running like a champ... Saturday after getting my blade back from the welder, I was pushing snow and all of a sudden, smoke comes billowing out of the hood, so...

I see, when and if I find out why I will let you know, maybe this will start to happen to more and more as the metals are getting older and older... or maybe it is an adjustment issue, hopefully I can figure it out...Thx again "STAY WARM...LOL"

Paul, I just bought a 104 about a month ago, very nice shape right down to the original seat. I put my snow thrower on it. I was throwing snow when all of a sudden a "banging " noise from under the hood, I turned the machine off and pushed it in the garage. I bent the 3 pin plate and...

Kraig, that is exactly what I have, the engine bolt holes from what I can tell do not have any play to move them back and forth, I will have to take a closer look. I wasn't sure if the lower spring with the nut on it would help bring the clutch disk closer to the pins not vise versa... With it...

My 3 pins for the clutch disk barely go through the friction disk on my 104 after replacing them due to breakage. How do I adjust this as this may have been the cause of why the clutch pins sheered off in the first place

When I reassembled the clutch the 3 pins in the drive plate bearly go through the disk. In the pictures it shows a good 1/4 to 1/2 or so, how do I adjust this?

The metal cage/screen protecting the flywheel has broken off the pulley (Not the clutch cage, the one attached to the engine). could this have been the cause to break the roll pins...
