    K-301 carburetor

I bought a 1250 aftermarket carb from a good source, there was an issue with the fuel line metal fitting at the carb, the fitting was for a 1/4" fuel line and the 1250 is 3/8". And no, the threads were different between the fittings, and could not use the OEM fitting in the new carb. bought a...

Steve, Are your instructions on the pickle fork bending still around. I’ve tried to find them, and in the archives there are links to them but the links are broken. First post in years. Dave

Anyone have info on which wheel valve stem to use on the front wheels of a QL? TR412? or TR14? Trying to replace tires and tubes back to tubeless and i won't be near my manuals until Sunday night. I really don't know what the difference is. Richard C, interesting to see a PSM-6 meter on...

Anthony P. I've never installed a creeper, but, i have replaced a worn out driveshaft. The Driveshaft does wear around the clutch springs and TO Bearing. If you haven't already torn into it, you may have to tear it down and inspect it to see how much is left. Maybe someone else will chime in...

Binder Books' website states they have manuals for a 1282. sounds like they might be helpful. Didn't this guy always talk about Reading the Factory Manual....

Lonny B, good story on the 121 build up. I guess it's a good example of why most of us don't get rid of anything, unless forced by a higher power.

Steven B. There was a Loctite product that someone on here recommended for the Oil Tube. It was one of the Threadlock/Assembly products that would jump a fair gap. I don't recall the number and their website has gotten more complex. Can i still post? i guess i can.

Looking for a QL electric pto "Rotor and Armature" where the bearing race has not spun. Good bearing.

The electric PTO on my 1250 is loose at the sheeve and if "Off" it rattles/slides against the Brake Flange. Otherwise it works great. I'm returning home tomorrow, (nothing like leaving home with your manuals), and plan on tearing it down. I've looked at Charlie's FAQs and my parts list. Is...

Marty G I don't know of any disadvantages to having the floating lift straps. The advantage is taking stress off the hitch as the CC moves up or down. I'm sure there is someone out there that can explain it better. Can I still post? Yep, Howdy to all.

Keith LeJeune, One additional safety "lock" for young boys is to disconnect the Negative cable from the battery, especially if it's being stored.

Bill B, Most people find the 149 desirable due to the standard features, like the hydraulics, before IH got into the rattling Quiet Lines. Good Pics being posted, good progress on the K2K.

Herman P Welcome to the Forum. You may need to look at the for Sale area or surf eBay for awhile to come up with a price/worth, they usually aren't much. David Bromlow, great pics, I have the same problem on a 1250. There, I have finally posted again!

Mike B and Kendell I, I once worked around some metalugists and I think they had a process they called Acid Etching, I'm not sure if it is the same the police use or not. Stamping the S/N causes a difference in stress in the metal to some depth that is much more than the visual, and that...
