Can some one identify this thrower by the picture?

Yep that is a IH QA36 snow thrower and not bad condition, looks better than mine

JEFF - I don't think that's a QA-36. Maybe a CW-36 I think it was? A more modern version of the BB-36 for the originals. My QA-36 has the quick attach like that one, but has the short jack shaft driven with the PTO shaft with slip yoke & 2 universals, then roller chain thru the back of the housing to drive the auger with the driven sprocket welded onto the auger.

There's no flares on the top & sides of the blower housing on a QA-36 or 42.

I did'nt Know where to post this. Guy wants 150 for it and I'm thinking about it but it doesn't look like the pics. I found on a QA36 with the chain on the outside with the cover.

Dennis, I looked up the cw36 and that's what it looks like. The owner said his grandpa made the brackets to work on a 1250. Now all I gotta decide is what its worth.

Just when I thought I had the correct answer for a change, and come to find out I am wrong again.

From now on I think I will leave answering all cub cadet questions to the professionals.

Sorry Keith
