I have to replace the front PTO clutch on my Cub 2072 we are restoring. The motor is out of the tractor. How do I keep the crankshaft from turning when trying to remove the the cap screw holding the PTO on the crankshaft. Also is the cap screw a left or right handed thread

Howard S: The threads are standard right hand threads..turn to left to remove...

Holding the Crank?? That's why they make impact wrenches. Of course, you can always hold the flywheel....CAREFUL!! do NOT use the fins for braces....You break one of those off and you'll be looking for a new flywheel.
