Rebuilding QA36A Thrower

I had to replace the outter bearings in the gear box on the thrower whats the best or correct grease to repack it with?

How does this question not belong here? Just asking because the title of this board is CCC and MTD Machines & Equipment. Does the QA36a not fit these machines?

It does, but it's an IH-built attachment that was originally made for the IH-built tractors.

Just like how the 450 and 451 fit the IH-built 82 series, but are CCC-built, so they go here.

I could have worded that better...I meant 'it does' as in 'it does fit the CCC tractors' but is IH-built so it belongs in the main forum...

I only posted it here cuz I'm running it on a CCC tractor...
