I got laid off Dec. 16. Tonight about 7:30 I got a call to start at a factory in Dixon, IL. I got a part time job that I'm gonna keep at least for a while, but this is full time. I'm just, really ok right now.

Good to hear. Things have really been going downhill with factory jobs between the Quads and Sterling/Rock Falls for a few years.

Don't forget to stop and smell the petunias LOL

Dave, As a TV commentator from a way back used to say...
"There's good news tonight..."

Maybe things really are starting to get better.

thanks guys, First day went well, I thought. found out at 730 last night I had to own a pair of steel toes and be to work at 3 am. Went shopping at 8 last night, my part time job is 10pm to 12. I stayed up from nerves and to make sure I wasn't late on the first day. got to sleep at about 4 this afternoon. Couldn't have been to bad they asked me to come back.
