Hi all. I’m new to the forum. I was gifted an older cub cadet, it was rebuilt years ago and I don’t think the tractor is a 102 like the graphics they put on. The serial number on the axle housing is 199355. Can anyone help? I need to get some general maintenance parts, but not exactly sure what I have

You can tell by looking under the front of the tractor, flat oil pan will be a 10HP a deep one will be a 12hp

There should also be an ID plate on the side of the motor. If it says Kohler K241, it is a 10 hp. If it says K301, it is a 12 hp.

If it is a Carter carb, you can look up in the throat and there should be a number in there. That will tell you if it is the same carb.
