I'm thinking that is a home made setup. Gang reel mowers were popular at one time.

It would have to do a WAAAAY better job than that one before I'd invest in one!!

I remember when our blacksmith shop was still open years ago, he had a rig to sharpen those reels, and he could also do ice skates on it s well

Gang reel mowers were popular but, for whatever reason, I've never seen one pulled by a horse...a different "twist" if you will...

They can do a great job. But you can't let the grass get to long between cuts. It just lays down then it'll never get cut at all.

I've got the Sun-Master 321 like the picture at the bottom.

The one for the front of the original is cool. Mostly only see at golf courses anymore. which makes sense. I agree on not letting the grass grow long. I mowed for 3 years growing up our yard and neighbors with a push reel mower.

I found an old Pennsylvania hand push real mower at the dump last spring it was dang near mint, thought it would be cool yard art,but had ideas of adapting to a tow behind like in the adds. But after seeing the horse set up...maybe ill hitch it to my black lab...hes got energy to burn LOL
