We have a 1978 CC model 1200. The deck bracket on the front of the tractor is loose. How do you move to backwards and tighten the bolts

There is a latch. It looks like it's not latched. Might have to hold down on the latch handle and push it back till it clicks in. There are no bolts to tighten its a quick release set up. Slide on till latch clicks. To take off release latch and pull forward
 
On one of my tractors, the edge of the latch on the engaging lever was worn enough that it would not stay connected. Fortunately, they are easy to replace. Also, the pins on the mule drive bracket wear out. To repair them, they must be welded, then filed/ground back to correct shape.
