I put a loader on my 149. Any modifications I made were done to the loader and it just bolted on. I'm sure the same could be done with a loader and backhoe to a 169 without modifying the tractor, but a restore on the 169 and another tractor for a worker sounds good too.

The thing I liked about the loader on the 149 was having the loader controls on the right and the speed control on the left so I could move the tractor while controlling the bucket. The same loader on a 1450 or later would have been a pain because both controls would be on the right hand side.
