My 104 has a Walbro carb. I’ve located a NOS Kohler carb. Is the Kohler plug and play, or will some mods be needed.

Thanks all,

John in Maine

Should just bolt right to the engine, no mods needed. Just the gasket between the two.

Kohler wouldn't make things that difficult anyway, at least not when the K series was in production

There were some different choke lever arrangements used, depending on the spec of the engine. That may need to be changed, but other than that, it'll work.
