Hello all,

I have ordered some bearings for my mower deck and they arrived today. Would I be better off taking it to the dealer than replacing them myself? I'm not sure how I would get the old bearings out and the new ones in. I don't have a press... TIA.

Brett, this might help. I'd disassemble it and take just the basic parts to the dealer to have pressed apart. Though you might be able to get them apart without a press.

Sure enough they are up. Yes maybe I better take it to the dealer. Those bearing are quite pricey, with my luck I would only ruin them... Thanks for those photos. They will help lot's when putting it back together...

Brett, one thing I'll add to the deck leveling procedure, check the air pressure in the tires first, it'd be a bummer to adjust the deck only to find out that you have one low tire.
