Does anyone know about what serial number/date IH began making the steering adjustment slot in the dash tower on the "O"?

Marty, I have never seen a specific S/N break mentioned where the slot was added to the pedestal, just that it was an early addition.

Marty: my early Jan 1962 Original (SN: 24208) HAS the curved adjustment slot. Therefore the change was likely in late 1961.

original steering pedestal slot:
11207 did not have one.

Supposedly BOTH off these O headlight brackets are OEM.
Did they make 2 different sizes or no?
