I thought this was a knob on the brake set lever but it turned out to be tape from the wireing harness.

wel guys i got a 100 question on mine i have a red buttom sticking out of the points cover! what does it do or what is that button for?

Charlie, yes on the deck wheels and that bracket was for the CW36 snowthrower I believe. However it could be used on the mower deck but it didn't come with the mower deck.

I know it's OT but that reminded me of my old 66 Chevy PU.
I put a big red button on the dash and under it a label "Seat Ejector". I had a firecraker wired under the passenger bucket seat to the battery and that button. One night a guy riding with me couldn't take the suspense any longer and pushed it.

Todd - Those kill buttons are found mostly on "wrap a rope" start engines, that I've ever seen ... someone may have lost the original cover.
