Anybody ever upgrade cub front wheel bearings?

I have a 1450 cub cadet and continue to have front wheel bearing problems. The bearings are junky, like the races were never hardened. The bearings just cut themselves in half. Does anyone have a source for quality bearings. Has anyone ever modified the wheels to accept "real" ball bearings? Thanks

Go to your nearest bearing supply store and get four of the one of the following (depending on the size your 1450 has):

3/4" axle = RF12-22-14-PP
1" axle = RF16-32-16-PP

Should solve your problem.
