This is a hybrid tractor I put together. It is a 1973 400 series frame and hydrostatic transmission with a 1971 300 series dash and steering gear. 1968 B series color, hydro lift, seat and foot rests. 12 HP Kohler K engine.

I had a 416 allis years ago. It wasn't such bad tractor, I liked the deck. It used the same ross steering box and had better bearings.

Paul, nice looking tractor. That hydro control lever looks very similar to the control levers on my AC 620.

Kraig, they are nearly the same. Your tractor series would have been introduced about the same time as the AC 400. 1972.

Is that a 4 grand tach in the dash? How do you have that set up?

Thanks for the info. Theres been several discussions here about how to put a tach on a single cylinder kohler. Then you post a factory set up. Thats kinda cool.

Got a nice little attachment for the tractor the other day. A NOS Ark 515 Loader!

A few more pics. This loader would be from around 1972. I feel very fortunate to have acquired this fine piece.

Lots of grime on it but note the bag of hardware still taped to the sub frame.

Going through some of the other boxes of goodies from the same source proves interesting.

Paul, I'm in love with your B10! I spent a bunch of hours driving one of those around a nursery with a trailer hauling plants when I was in school.

Paul very cool.. what is on the front of the plow tractor, is that a weight

Jeff, I'm thinking some kind of leaf shredder.

Paul, cool B10. For your enjoyment, here are some old adds from National Geographic:

Yes, the big barrel looking thing on the front is a shredder/grinder called a composter.

Nice old ads. That bulldozer driver makes the tractor look very small.

Paul can you post some detailed pics of the shredder and how it works?

Jeff, Here is an exploded view from the parts list. Should give you a good idea of it. The blades are not sharpend.
