Saw that Aaron had posted a new pic of his Xtreme hitch and I wanted to have the same picture in this section for further discussion.

Aaron or anybody else, Could you explain why the bottom holes are slotted instead of bing full holes?

I have a 1606, 3 spd. Which hitch in your pic would fit?

The hitch is universal and will fit on both the aluminum rear end as shown on your tractor and the older IH cast iron rear ends. The universal part keeps it the correct height off the ground. All the hitches shown above will fit yours, The 4 hole 2 tab is for regular cc's with larger tires on, the 3 hole 2 tab is for extra strength - just like the original brinly u-hitch, and the single tab is just like the original brinly hitch with single tab. All of them are xtreme style with the tabs going to the axle tubes so that you dont wreck your aluminum or cast iron rear end.
 
need help. i have a 1989 model 1050 (seems like the rare one) it has the plate on the back that looks like a hitch plate for the bagger. i need a manual sleeve hitch or a three point. who can help me out. thanks mike
