    Phillip: That Moog part number K5252 I believe is the front sway bar link kit for an old Chevy Caprice(1989 for example).

    Strait Hollis My 109 linkage "seized up" I had lubed with white grease. Mistake, or at least the brand is, not sure which. Anyway, I oiled all linkage liberally with engine oil. Smooth as silk. That is a start for you anyway.}

    Doug. Yes, I have tested voltage, and when charging runs just over 14. It could well be the brushes, that was a thought I had. I will check them. To you and Ron, and Don. Thank you kindly for your advice. much appreciated.

    Ron. The S/G was a rebuilt I bought last May. And, the fluctuations were there before and after installing it. The old S/G had the rear bushing and end plate messed up. Yes Ron, the winch is wired directly to the battery. The reason I was wondering about the ammeter, is that the only...

    Don T. I can't get the answer as to why Dad replaced the regulator as he passed away last June. I have wondered about the ATV winch. But even when lifting it is short duration and for it, almost no load. Of course when lowering it has no load. It may still be an issue tho. I actually got...

    OK fella's. I need some opinions here. I have the wiring schematic for my 109. I tried to out it in this post, but d'd if I can figure out how. Anyway, the way I figure it is. Leads go from the positive side of the battery to the starter solenoid, and then to the positive side of the...

    Bruce M. Testing with a multimeter shows voltage down. And after restarting it did not start to charge, only after sitting for maybe 20 minutes. During that time I also used a battery charger, and it does take a charge. The 20 minutes brings it back to full. BTW, the amp gauge has...

    To Kraig and Don T. About the hydro linkage binding on my 109. When I inspected it I found the white lithium grease I had lubed with was all dried up. An oil can and some engine oil and now smooth as silk. Many thinks for your help. Now, I've another issue. The S/G was replaced in May with a...

    Kraig. Thank you. I have copied that. Will try to look tonight. But I have to get her truck fixed. Two reasons---you know wives, and, besides, I have to get the truck out of the garage to have the room to check the cub. Somehow I got the feeling the brake linkage was causing the issue.

    Plowing snow the other day with my 109. All of a sudden, the hydro lever became real hard to move. Both forward and reverse. It was really cold, and I thought maybe some snow/ice around the linkage. pressed an released brake pedal few times. Seemed Ok for a bit then tightened up again. Parked...

    You may have a plugged vent. On my splitter it is actually the filler cap. It may need to be cleaned out.

    Car wheels for cubs

    I used 13" white spoke trailer wheels. Mounted auto snow tires with chains for snowplowing duty. Works well.
