Kraig, I talked to the guy with the 71 today to get directions to his place. He told me the cub had a blade for the front, it just wasn't in the pics cause he had never put it on. Said the cub came down here from Yankee land, that the PO had used it for pushing snow. I guess that means it has...

No launch pics. I live about 23 miles as the crow flies from the launch pad, and my camera won't zoom enough to get good pictures. Way too grainy/pixel dot, if you know what I mean. I don't know about the blade, these are som pics that my friend sent me. He said he needed for me to trailer a...

Sorry, spark plug hole, nothing a new head wont fix, right? Just watched the Ares rocket launch from my pasture. It is too cool living this close to the Cape!! I guess I could pull the K321 out of the 1100 and put it in the 71, then she would really pull.

Here is the 71, does it look salvageable? All I know is it turns over and tries to run, but the plug hole is stripped out, and the steering linkage is broken down at the spindle

A friend of mine wants me to pick up a Model 71 that someone gave him. Do I let this tractor die a slow death in their barn covered with chicken and goat manure, or do I convince them that it isn't what the need for their place? My wife says I oughta keep the 71 and give my friend my 1100 in...

    Making a wildlife Food Plot

Kraig, I quit shotgun deer hunting after I came home from the military, and stuck strictly to bow. The shotgun season was very short(7 days) and I lived in one of the prime hunting counties, so every A hole in chicagoland wanted to come down there and destroy "our" woods. It truely wasnot...

Kendall, I know all about that, got my NRA instructor and rangemaster certs about 15 years ago. Illinois was kinda stupid about that, too. Only shotgun for deer, but I used to coyote hunt with a .223 all the time, and used my favorite old 03 Springfield for sniping groundhogs.

OK, guess I can live with that. LOL The shot in the meat issue makes me think back to how good the pheasant hunting was when I was a kid. Really got into turkey hunting when I was living in north Georgia, The local boys really gave me the devil for using a rifle, but that bolt action 22 has...

Robert, That is a major part of why I don't deer hunt down here in Florida. I used to hunt in Illinois a lot, but I would be afraid to let a deer hang 20 minutes with the bugs down here.

Mike M: You probably shouldn't talk about Model 1100s here, It gets the snobby purists in an uproar.
